Volunteer Leader Training for Great Books :Webinar | Online |
Focus: Language Arts
This course is an online webinar. It is designed to deliver the same fine instruction that participants receive in the regular face-to-face training courses, albeit in a different format. This course is offered in two sessions. It is important to attend both sessions to achieve its full benefit.
This two-part webinar prepares participants to begin conducting Shared Inquiry™ discussions as a volunteer Great Books leader. It is intended to help participants organize a discussion-only, enrichment Great Books program using the Shared Inquiry method of learning through reading and discussion of outstanding literature. This course is not open to teachers, as it will not cover use of the Great Books interpretive activities in the classroom, assessment of student work, or other issues of interest to professional educators. Teachers or volunteers who will be working closely with teachers using Great Books programs as part of the curriculum are encouraged to take our core professional development course.
NOTE: You must register and pay for this webinar online. We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. We do not accept webinar registrations or purchase order payments by phone or fax.
Fee of $100.00 covers both days
