This most recent non-announcment coincides with several hagiographic paragraphs in yesterday's New York Times (the New Orleans story, which jumped off Page One of the National edition) from his friends at the New York Times. The reporters at The New York Times have never done an accurate Vallas story, going back to the days when Vallas was CEO here.
Next up? I'm sure the Tribune will provide Vallas with some free publicity courtesy of John Kass, about why his hero was traduced last time he offered his salvation for the benefit of Illinois.
