Recruitment Meeting
for 2008/09 school year

CTU looking for teachers interested in seeking National Board Certification.
You are invited to attend a Recruitment/Informational meeting for next school year's National Board Certification (NBC) cohort to be held at CTU on Tuesday, April 22nd, from 4:00 until 7:30. Nurturing Teacher Leadership, the Quest Center's highly successful professional development support program for National Board Certification, with a 90% achievement rate, has funding to support 70 candidates for its 11th cohort. Light refreshments will be served. Applications will be distributed for the 2008-09 cohort. Come see how you can attain the Illinois Master Certificate, earn graduate credit OR a Master's degree in Teacher Leadership, and receive a$3,000 yearly stipend from ISBE, and a $1,750 pensionable yearly pay raise from CPS. You must have completed at least your third year of teaching by June, 2008, in the field in which you are seeking National Board Certification.
Enrollment will be closed when 70 candidates have registered for NBC support.
