Monday Morning News At the very bottom of the Sun Times story on the Teachermate device, there is a link to a very interesting and informative blog post that tells you a) the teachermate is a lot more expensive than it sounds from the Sun Times piece and b) it's not very useful.

There are philanthropists giving away $100 laptops to kids in Third World countries-look up One Laptop Per Child. How about some of them for CPS kids instead?
