Young Do-Gooders To Meet Next Week
You may or may not like them, but there are a lot of young do-gooder types in Chicago -- teaching, social working, nonprofiting, etc. -- and once in a while they like to get away from all the old fogeys and their burned-out cynical attitudes and recharge the idealism and energy battery. That's the plan for next week, far as I can tell:  "Young Non Profit Professional Network  Chicago will be holding its 5th Annual Celebration at the Newberry Library located at 60 W. Walton.  Time: 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Cost: $15 in Advance, $20 at the door (if available) The ticket price includes appetizers, soda, water, and fantastic give-a-ways. A cash bar will be available as well. Register at www.ynpnchicago.org."

For those that are in the Chicago nonprofit community or interested in getting more involved, it will be a great opportunity to network and meet some good people and find out more about all the cool stuff going on in Chicago. And of course the food, drink, prizes, recharging batteries, etc. Thanks again for the shout out.
