More Jazz For CPS My dad's old band, the Chicago Jazz Ensemble, is partnering with CPS and the Louis Armstrong Foundation to bring music to the schools:

"With a grant and support from the Louis Armstrong Educational Foundation, the Chicago Jazz Ensemble and Artistic Director Jon Faddis have designed this new program to introduce and extend the musical legacy of Louis Armstrong, particularly to middle and high school music students in the Chicago Public Schools (“CPS”). While many existing CPS music programs will participate, we encourage the formation of new ensembles at schools currently without a formal instrumental music program."

Check it out.
