Eye-Opening Field Trips Some teachers still take kids out of the building do see and learn things, and the most recent post from Will Okun's blog about teaching on the West Side has him taking his photography students to see a local legend who has taken thousands of photos including for The Defender. 

Says Okun:  "My students respect his photography, his hustle and his money. They listen to him because he comes from their streets and they know that he is speaking his truths."
