[img=/assets/blog/200712/lori.olszewski.web.jpg F:L ]I've heard from a couple of people now that one of my favorite Chicago education reporters, [b]Lori Olszewski[/b] (undated picture at left), has left the Tribune and is now working on education issues at the Center on Urban School Improvement at the U of C (otherwise known as Tim Knowles' secret lair). A South Side native, Olszewski is a former Nieman Fellow, knew education better than most, and did some great work on deseg among other things while she was at the Tribune.
