What is happening is our world is one word - IMMORALITY. People are living for the moment no matter what the consequence, people are living for the moment.
Wanna have sex? Sure let's have sex. doesn't matter if we are married or not. Doesn't matter if we are mature and loving enough to parent a child if pregnancy occurs as a result of our sexual encounter.
Wanna steal. Sure, let's steal. Doesn't matter if our stealing results in innocents going without their property because our thieving needs supersedes the owners needs.
Wanna lie, wanna commit adultery, wanna cheat, wanna invade another country...
People need to return to valuing moral behaviors and fortitude.
To get back to the story at hand, I believe every word the "Chicagoist" said about the brother. The attorney is a liar. The tragedies that happen to about 90% of Americans 22 years and below happen because they make wrong, immoral choices due to living for the moment.
My sympathies for the little girl living with such foolish people.
Thank you for allowing me to post this and vent my frustrations with our human condition.

To hell and back
My Grandmother took me and my older brother to see Audy Murphy
In that movie way back in the 1950’s.The next day my uncle came over
And took us shooting. My brother acted out a scene from the movie and
Charged into the kitchen with the Mossberg .22 rifle on his hip just like
Our hero Audy.My uncle took the rifle and hit my brother so hard it
Sent him flying.” It’s not a toy “ He said in his best imitation of a drill sergeant
,only my uncle had been a real drill sergeant. We have always remembered that
even now 60 years later.
My point is that firearms are a fact of life. Forget all the hype about gun control
and the 2nd Amendment. Kids are dying because nobody is teaching kids about
gun safety. I believe in the right to bear arms, I also believe in real burden that right
