Oppenheimer Teacher Awards Announced Thursday [img=/assets/blog/200711/timon_and_pumba.jpg F:L]On Thursday afternoon the Oppenheimer Family Foundation is awarding its annual Teacher Incentive Grants, which will include [b]445 CPS teachers[/b], 181 grants, and $225K. Event details: Thursday, Nov. 29; Reception 4:00-5:45 pm, Ceremony 6:00-7:30pm. Where: Roberto Clemente High School, 1147 N. Western Ave., Chicago. In addition, 2001 Golden Apple Award winner [b]Tracy Van Duinen[/b] will be honored as the 2008 recipient of the "Oppy Award," each year presented to an outstanding educator.
