National Union Chief Praises Duncan (& Others) The praise for Arne Duncan just keeps flowing in -- even as a rival, Denver's Michael Bennet, emerges on the scene, with even less experience and accomplishments than Duncan.  

Here, AFT union chief Randi Weingarten lauds the cooperative relationship between Duncan and the CTU (Education and the Unions).  It's not clear if this is done with a straight face. 

Meanwhile, EdWeek reports that Bennet, Duncan Undergo Background Checks.

And the New Orleans Times Picayune reports that Vallas says he is not in running.

I can't believe that this guy Duncan is still standing, given the Blagojevich scandal and all.
